I thought you could not smoke in buildings? Rebel, breaking the law. How can he smoke onstage?

If he quit smoking, GOOD for him (yet, it still IS his choice)!

No. That weight gain was from turning 40. I call it "40 fat." That's an easy 20 pounds. And then the quitting smoking is another 20 pounds. Easy. I know. Believe me, I know.

And the meanest part of all, is that even if you go back to smoking, the weight doesn't come off. But the next time you quit, you gain another 20 pounds.

I think hitting 50 is another 20 pounds, too. Life is great.

So by age 50, assuming he quits cigarettes 10 times, he'll top 400 lbs easy.

I know it is popular to believe one _has_ to be fat these days but it is not true.

A bit of exercise and eating right and a person will be just fine.

But gaining weight with each birthday is not a given, most researchers insist. Lifelong weight control is possible, they say, although it's far from easy for most. The key word here is control—keeping your weight within a healthy range so you can minimize your risk of high blood pressure, type II diabetes, heart disease, stroke and other problems that can accompany excess weight.

I sometimes post on the forum as a single mom, a sailor stationed in Thailand or a male prostitute with a heart of gold.
