Paul Simpson used to be in the Teardrop Explodes, The Wild Swans, and Care (but i never listened to them). his ambient solo project is called Skyray, on the Ochre label. cool stuff. he's got a really cool myspace page with some pretty bizarre stuff on there! go read his blog called There’s A Ghost In My House - Book Extract 1 (about when he shared a flat with Pete De Freitas, it's really amusing!!)

you may have heard of the Wild Swans...

When the song was included on the CD retrospective of the label's output, Bill Drummond singled it out as the best track Zoo ever produced.
