I think this song sounds a little like Electrafixion but the production is better and the song itself is way better than most of the Electrafixion stuff, IMO.

I really like Mac's vocals on this song. He may sound a little raspy on it, but I think his voice (whether it's the production or a combination of things) sounds really cool and different than the other recent albums.

The solo break is awesome.

After she played the song, Janice Long said that "they" would be on her show in late June. Here's hoping Will will show up this time, too.

With just the first listen, it's apparent Ian's regained some of his range. Bravo. Keep going!

Yer kidding, right? Sounds like he just got off a three day whiskey bender.
He sounds cool, but no range.

Can't he be cryptic again? He's not the sharpest tool in the shed. Keep the lyrics simple, Jack. And we'll see you at the barricades babe.

Best tune I've heard since Evergreen.

I agree with Frank and Mr. Sparkle that his voice does sound somewhat better although with most artists, whether you're hearing a very old recording or new one, you can usually tell by the voice who it is. He has a completely different voice now. This one sounds sexy but nothing like the old Mac. I would never be able to guess they were the same person.

Will sounds great but it sounds very Gin Blossoms/Fray, mainstream to me.

Tonywojo should take over in the lyrics department

Way to misquote me, ass-face.

I said "Mac's vocals are better than I've heard since WAYGTDWYL. Not saying he's on-par with that, but he's obviously regained some range. Maybe he really DID quit smoking."

His vocal range on this track is better than on Siberia, Slideling, Live In Liverpool and Flowers. Though his voice will never be what it was in the 80s, I do enjoy his "new" voice, when there's a good measure of range to it - Burned, Evergreen, WAYGTDWYL.

This slight return to form has me hopeful that the damage wasn't permanent.

You can tell it's the same Mac from the recent albums, but I think his vocals are definitely different on this song that the other recent stuff, and in a good way. I agree that he sounds nothing like he did in the 80's but it's been like that for awhile now, IMO.

Not sure about the Gin Blossoms reference...oh no...
