Just looking at google (honest) about 911 as I hadn't heard of them until now, they were background dancers on Hit Man and Her prior to forming "the band". God that programme brings back memories in the late 80s of returning home on the last train pissed and then an hour of Michaela Strachan before bed....

You'd be amazed though that Busted did actually serve a useful purpose. My niece was into them and now older, she has moved onto the likes of the Kaiser Chiefs. I suppose they act as a bridge for kids who later will move onto indie or alternative acts.

Look at Rick Rubin, he did all the Def Jam rap and heavy rock and then did Johnny Cash too. Very well i might add.

I don't know, it sounds like this producer is gonna sprinkle fairy dust on an already predisposed to sugary ballads type songwriter. I was hoping for someone to roughen Mac's songs up since it sounds like Will has quit trying or Mac just won't let him.

dead right gpoht. My lot were into busted, then mcfly and now all sorts of stuff they would have rejected out of hand before. I even took them to see mcfly who, I would add, were quite good, did a cracking version of pinball wizard and went all rolling stones in the middle with some giant inflatable legs (brings up all sort of visions that one, but I'll let you work it out). The rest was a bit scary really, me and a few thousand screaming teenage girls. On such occasions they ought to put a section at the back for the old blokes to stand in on such occasions, safely away from the chance of being trampled to death, oh yes they dd in fact, it was called 'the bar', pint in hand, foot tapping, arms crossed, not too far from the average bunnies gig in fact.

I know all these people who thought Cash was just country took another listen and gave him a whole new audience. He got played on college radio when country radio shunned him because he didn't fit the new country image which is just pop music.
