Richard Wright - RIP

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Richard Wright - RIP

Just heard the very sad news that the Floyd keyboardist has died after a brief battle with cancer, I've grown up listening to Floyd (much like the Bunnymen) and I always regarded Rick as the nice guy in the band. Very sad.

Sad news indeed. Too bad all those guys couldn't put all their differences aside years ago and continue on as one of the greatest bands on the planet instead of as two fractured Gilmour and Waters groups.

Im abit like the Doc - I've grown up with the Floyd and feel gutted today. Rick was the gentleman of the group, but also a great keyboard player and composer (Great Gig In The Sky) as well as singer.

Now there will never be a Floyd reunion that appeared tantalisingly close as Gilmour and Waters put aside their differences later in life.

RIP - Rick. Sadly missed.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

I'm not ashamed to say I had a little tear in my eye when I read the news, I really regret not going to see him playing with Gilmour on his last tour now.

Sadly missed indeed.
