Jesus & Mary Chain, new box set...

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Though there's nothing specifically stating a remaster on anything I've read, it is on Rhino. I'd think they'd give it the Rhino remaster treatment

I could stand to have that stuff remastered in one shot - but as much as I LOVE the Jesus and MAry Chain, I'd being 81 versions of the same song.

I might buy it. Their outtakes were often some of the best stuff- look at Barbed Wire Kisses. Still, they need to re-record Automatic with a real drummer. Get the guy from Ride.

Is that Cockney Yiddish?

Oi: an old Cockney expression meaning hey or hello. Later, "Oi!" came about as a working class street-level subgenre of punk rock that originated in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s.

Oy Vey: Yiddish אױ װײ (oy vey), literally, "oh woe".
