Scott Walker Concerts

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

that must be made with the sun,
so you make friends with the field
the river and the wind,
then you pray the whole cold night before,
under the travelling cordless moon,
to make you worthy and lyric and pure.

I doubt he can get his head out his arse long enough to actually appear on stage. Honestly, have you ever heard such pretensious shit in your life? He's designed the "installation" but wont actually appear himself.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

I hope he's going to replicate the exact sound of pork being slapped on teh album or you can demand your money back Jimbo.

The man is godlike-until he became a slave to dischord. He's just not fresh anymore, not even pre-fresh pork fresh.

Is this the same dude who produced Pulp's last album?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I've seen more talent at an open mic on a Monday night.

I'm going to see David Sylvian in February. Sylvian himself wont be there but a cardboard cut out will be wobbled along to his famously unlistenable solo album Blemish. The stage design, lighting and backing band will be "curated" by Sylvian.

The evening will be titled "A Fool And His Money Are Easily Parted".

New Kids On The Block have reformed.

Wow we are onto something here.A Lou Reed hologram could be projected whilst a single guitar held up against an amp feedbacks for three hours in an authentic 'installation' of the Transformer album.

Mind you some of the bands I've seen I'd have preferred if they didnt show up!

The Last Shadow Puppets' primary inspiration, Scott Walker, has announced a number of live performances of songs from his last two albums.

However, the reclusive singer will not perform at the concerts - which showcase tracks from 1995's 'Tilt' and 2006's 'The Drift' - but he is producing and "sound designing" the shows.

'Drifting And Tilting: The Songs Of Scott Walker' will play for three nights at London's Barbican on November 13-15.

Songs from the two albums, Walker's most experimental, will be performed by his band, an orchestra and various guest vocalists.

Did you celebrate the irony?

Everything is going wrong but were so happy.
