The Rascals

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

The Rascals

Sounds good, but why did they steal the old band's name? Good Lovin' and It's a Beautiful Morning et al?

They can always become The Rascals UK or The English Rascals when they try to break America.

Looks like they are men of taste:

"Their first headline tour dates are booked for February, the album is set for a summer release and tehy've even found time to appear in the film 'Away Days' - based on the Kevin Sampson book on football hooligans - performing their version of Echo and the Bunnymen's 'All That Jazz' on screen."

Why don't they pick something original, like "The Turtles" or "Gerry & The Pacemakers"?

Like Kounelaki said, they should call themselves Rascals UK, to avoid confusion with:

I really like this song. I'm trying to find the name of it? When I type in Rascals on Google or you tube all that comes up are the (Young) Rascals

The song's called "Out of Dreams".

There was a podcast about them. Haven't listened to it.

Yeah this is good stuff!

They are from The Wirral, England.

They could have called themselves "The Wirrals" or just "The Wirral" or perhaps "Wirral" or the "Rascally Wirrals". Ok I'm going to bed now.

"they've even found time to appear in the film 'Away Days' - based on the Kevin Sampson book on football hooligans - performing their version of Echo and the Bunnymen's 'All That Jazz' on screen."

- from http://www.therascals.co.uk/biog.aspx

(lol. I corrected all the typo's from the excerpt)

NOW I'm going to bed.
