Why didn't anyone tell me about these guys? I just saw the song "No Cars Go" in the Fully Flared video today and bought their full length albums today because of it. Holy shit they're pretty good. The dude really sounds like Mac at times. They're like a cross between the Bunnymen and Celtic Woman which I fucking hate but somehow this overblown shit works.

Damn my indie street cred gets in the way sometimes. :rolleyes:

Apart from the above similar sounds, a few tracks are sang by one of the female band members. There's one track in particular (I think it's I'm Sleeping in a Submarine on Funeral) where she sounds a little bit like Bjork.

BTW, they played the bowl last year with LCD Soundsystem. Heard it was a damn fine show.

Arcade Fire are easily one of my favourite bands now. I saw them live and they blew me away. The lead singer is completely crackers and it shows through. Viva la crazy eyes. It makes me feel dangerous :twisted:
