Lou Reed in Philly....got tickets.

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Lou Reed in Philly....got tickets.

One of my favorite shows of all time was seeing Lou Reed on the "New York" tour at a place usually reserved for seeing symphonies and opera's, a real upscale place with great acoustics. I had 2nd row and he did the whole New York album in one set and then came back and did a another set of Reed/VU songs.

Here are the rest of the tour dates

Sounds like you had a great time, good for you.

This will be "our" first time seeing him live. The venue is GA seating (I'm going to try to get to the bar area somewhat early to at least be able to sit & drink) but if not, I'll be happy w/ what I have. I am anticipating some VU songs and Walk on the Wild Side...etc. Hope so.

Anyone locally going to this gig, perhaps we can meet & talk about the Bunnymen...or VU....

I got out my Uptight book last night for old time's sake to see how it all "used to be". What fun.

Rock on w/ Lou this Saturday night...
