post-punk guitarist John McGeoch

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

PiL came to an end when Lydon accepted a solo deal. McGeoch was a martial arts expert and when he was told by the band’s manager there was no new album deal and PiL was effectively over, he later told a friend that he contemplated taking him out to the pub car park and killing him. Instead, he walked away.

It wouldn't work if Mac was a slaphead would it.

Thanks FC. Vague memories of seeing the Banshees early 80's probably the Kaleidoscope tour so JM would have been playing on that tour. Also unless my memory is playing tricks I recollect Squeeze as the support band. Always liked Nocturne as one of my favourite Live albums which had Bob Smith rather than JM
