tanya donelli & parkington sisters

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Sounds good. Appears she has done an album of covers

Cut from a review on Amazon:

Firstlly, I'll be clear that the production, playing and vocals are all up to a very high standard. Some of the vocal harmonies are breathtakingly beautiful, however: the album as a whole fails to move me. My favorite song is Tanya's great reading of the Ray Davies' classic, Days. The song I was most looking forward to was Echo and the Bunnymen's Ocean Rain. What seems to happen here is the arrangement highlights the songs' inherent weakness. It has one verse and a chorus that endlessly repeat, ultimately going nowhere.

hoho, so despite looking forward to it someone don't get the old bunnymen, or that songs might not be all about the words, or anything. They need to visit us sometime.
