80s groups with Integrity

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

That all depends in how you define "Selling Out" ..........

like can be with major but stick to integrity with music

like game would have been downfall of echo

a good example - the comsat angels

they tried desparately to be popular but nobody ever liked em but their music spoke for itself - they were very tight like echo

and the sound

Pretty much limits it to bar bands without recording contracts.

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

One could argue The Pixies supporting U2 ........
Flaming Lips appearing on TOTP with Justin Timberlake on bass
And Erasure releasing a EP of Abba Covers .......

Is Selling Out.......

Am not say they sold out but am sure that some others would say they did ...........

Virtually every band has been accused by someone of selling out .......

I got over the whole selling out/indie/street cred when the Flaming Lips were on 90210 (which I watched every Wednesday). I remember that day well.

I forgot about the U2 tour. Pixie sell out motherfuckers.

I don't see how a campy (one half gay) duo putting out an EP of ABBA covers is selling out though.

Speaking of where did Vince Clarke's muse go?

I love how all boy bands need to have a tough guy.

You really should not be admitting that in a public place. I mean the girls were not even hot to warrant that.

I think the Lips were riding the wave of what they felt was a weird fluke and a one hit wonder type status. To appear on that show was the height of camp for them I suppose. One day you are jerking off to Charlies Angels, next thing you know you are in a band on another cheesy Aaron Spelling show playing a song about a chick who dies her hair with tangerines.

I don't know dude I've always dug Shannon Doherty. I like chicks who are crazy and bounce checks.

And I have to point out your incorrect usage of the word "dies"
