If you like Amy Winehouse when you are drinking but wish there was a bit more there or Fiona hadn't gone off the deep end you will like this Melody Gardot.
After a spinal chord injury she turned to music to deal with short term memory loss and other issues from the accident. Quite nice for only 23.

Sounds like you're all set if Lilith Fair ever starts up again.
