We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Jesus - not another "entire album in its entirety" tour

Are all 80's has beens reading from the same script? Thank God for Depeche Mode...
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

I guess this makes me sound old, but I think the 80's has beens have more to offer than a lot of today's bands. (British ones, I mean.) And yes, Depeche Mode still have it!

Yeah. Depeche mode would never stoop to playing an entire album in its entirety.

Oh wait.

Hey even Depeche Mode have their contractual obligations.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

That tour wasnt the entire SOFAD album, that live album is pulled from about 3 different shows as they alternated the setlist so much.

So there.

Absolutely no point seeing Simple Minds if Derek Forbes isnt on bass. His sound drove the band.He leaves after Dont You and my association with the band ends. However they were quality up to then.NGD is a great record.

Ditto Mick MacNeil on keyboards.
Personally I don't like NGD at all. My interest evaporated as soon as that was released.
I still regularly listen to their stuff before that though, mostly Sons & Fascination/Sister Feelings Call.
They were great live in the very early days too, before JK started taking himself so seriously.

I think they went down hill the day they decided to put the vocals up in the mix and make jim kerr sing proper words you could hear. Oh and stopped his mum cutting his hair. Always liked the bobbing up and down dance though.

Is charlie guitar still with them? So is it another two man band? Seeing out the angel would be my top selection.
