Into the void: Farewell to Black Sabbath – in pictures

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Just watching The End of the End, a film of the band's last show in Birmingham. Good fun.

the old Bill Ward looks like a bruiser version of Mark Kermode.

There has never been a bad cover of War Pigs. It's a perfect song.

It was years before I knew that Geezer Butler was the real mind and lyricist behind the band and not Ozzy. I also admit I have a soft spot for the Dio fronted version of the band. Heaven and Hell is a really great album. I only saw the band one time on the Dio led Mob Rules tour.

I didn't know that Geezer Butler wrote the lyrics until recently either. Or that there were several incarnations of the band with only Tony Iommi as a constant.

I saw the Mob Rules tour and Ozzy solo, but never the original lineup together. I can't listen to the Dio stuff or solo Ozzy now.

'Performing "War Pigs" live for the very last time.'

Holy frijole. There's an official video for "Iron Man". Where was this when I was in seventh grade?

Jennifer Aniston would be jealous of Ozzy's hair.
