I've read that hooky quote before somewhere. I read barney's book earlier this year and although its goodish it does, as one of the comments says, leave out great lumps of time / albums, and it is a bit like listening to some old bloke rambling on. As is hooky's book on the hscienda. Sooo, well I know I'm going to buy it sometime me or other

Did eventually finish the hacienda one, and despite all I said before (still true) it was interesting in places - lots of ins and outs of the manchester organised crime scene. Also, though he doesn't mention her by name he says of caroline aherne 'if one thing you shouldn't do is run a club with your mates, the other is marry an actress', or something like that. According to various headlines in this one he claims she used to slap him about quite a bit. Or is that a new one?#
