The Cure

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

The show was simply superb! I couldn't tell you half the songs, but they
all sounded great. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and highly recommend it if
you're able to get a ticket. You won't be disappointed.

Hear the Cure cover the Beatles' Hello Goodbye

Pretty straightforward cover. Simon Gallup has aged well.

Was there myself on Sunday Night, it was a great concert...... Good to see a band who actually mix up their set plus tend to throw in a few surprises........

Over 3 hours each night and broke the curfew in the process! I went two nights (wish I could have seen all three!) and they were just amazing, only slight variations to the setlist each night and the die hards were moaning as it's usual to change a good few songs, especially the encores!! Did all of The Top but not together or in the album order, total of 40/41 songs each night. As is often the way with The Cure the songs are better live, I loved some tracks on The Top, others I wasn't so keen on but after this I've seen the whole album in a completely different light. A highlight was the title track, wanted them to repeat it, if only to see the lights again! Almost 10 hours of singing and playing guitar for RS, plus a bit of dancing and he seemed to love every minute of it, well he said he had! Shows I will never forget, in one of the very best venues, just fantastic!! I know some on here don't like them but I would say go and see them, I'm sure you wouldn't regret it.

I wish I could give all our musical heroes thirty years back.

And us too.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Hadn't been paying any attention--surprised they haven't released an album in 10 years.

Good interview. I bought their latest albums last year and they're ok if you're into them, but all a bit like bloodflowers demos, which works for me if i'.in the right mood. But then i put on the hits album and there's nothing as quirky or sinister, even,as, a forrest. Obviously if i was a pop star i'd still be churning out original hit after original hit. Hey, and imagine Mac saying if Les left it wouln't be the bunnymen.

..... Or songs about being eaten by spiders. Opinions based, obviously on a couple of listens whilst doing something else, so could be completely wwrong. Give me 5 years and I'll probably think its the best thing ever.
