Rob Zombie

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Rob Zombie

Oh, I know, I know. Lately, my dark side has been rearing its head - Nine Inch Nails; Ministry; My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult; The Prodigy; Lords Of Acid - all in heavy rotation.

Then it happened:
I got a free ticket to see Rob Zombie & Ozzy Osbourne last week in my company's luxury suite.

Zombie's stage show was awesome! All pyro, gyrating naked girls, day-glo skulls and horror movie clips. And tremendous energy. The guy's my age and he was all over the stage. Ozzy, not so much. Absolutely no theater to the show. He was an old man in a wig and a sweatsuit, whose guitarist has a penchant for mastubatory 40 minute guitar solos. I left early. Was falling asleep

Anyhow, yeah. And his live album was released yesterday. Good souvenir of a great night out.

I look forward to any and all comments - incendiary or otherwise

this topic will probably see as much action as my Danzig thread and Withahip's Slayer thread on the Bunnymenforum.

Nothing wrong with the dark side.

Yes I did. He won't let you forget it either. His tourbus is covered in a full vinyl Halloween wrap.

I enjoyed the movie. I don't think it screwed with the "Halloween" mythology nearly as much as when George Lucas hurt the "Star Wars" mythology when he introduced Jar Jar Binks to the world.

Plenty of gore & bouncing boobies. What's not to love?

Yep, gore rules but, too bad they killed off Dr. Loomis.

Can't beat the original though...

Was I supposed to hear that in the voice of Yoda? Because I heard that in the voice of Yoda. Can anyone else picture the little guy grabbing a couple handsful of Carrie Fisher or Natalie Portman?

You were. Change ta-tas to Wookies and you have the most unintentionally hilarious line in Revenge of the Sith

The original Halloween was on last night, as was 4 & 5. Dr. Loomis is good not to be killed off, unlike Zombie's version. I will admit that, Zombie's version IS much more gruesome.
