The great big U2 thread

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

The great big U2 thread

Postby fat cherry » Thu Nov 21, 2013 7:39 am

Instead of turning every other thread into a U2 thread i thought I'd create a new one..... OK, I know it'll never happen but anyways..... McGuinness has packed it in, sold his managemenrt company, taking a back seat as it were, though how much of a back seat driver he'll be we don't know.

ere Mr Brian, heres your oppo on the atU2 fans site.

He's obviously slightly worried that the new management will take a different approach (less benign I guess) and I immediately thought of you and that you could offer advice on dealing with the perhaps less benign management.

Has anyone seen U2 lately live? What percentage of songs does Bono break into an "inspirational and ad lib" speech during a concert at this point?

47:52
Does he still spear someone in the front row with a white flag?

19:41
Will Bono ever take his shirt off at a concert again?

52:52
Does he ever do his famous Flashdance imitation anymore?

Does he judge beach bikini contests anymore?

Who is this new band you speak of?
The problem with self improvement is knowing when to quit.

no but have been having a bit of a U2 thing going on recently - i mean just old stuff, still not got past early 90s - the album with adam's nob on the front. Just thught i'd share. bought the remastered joshua tree cd a bit ago, - speaking of adam - sounds like he nipped in the remaster studio and cranked up the bass volume. classic.

There's a knob on the front of most U2 covers.
