This was a kickstarter job, and you could choose from several bits and pices. Didn't want some dodgy poster or even a days wprk out of one of the recent graduates but instead chose a recent reissue of doolittle on vynil signed by one of her lecturers. I was joshing long the lines of who is this bloke who goes around signing pixies album, but it turns out he is the bloke who designed the album sleeve. Paid more than I have ever for a bit of vynil, but all for a good cause. That's what I tell myself anyways. Cracking album though.
Doolittle start to finish is incredible. I liken the Pixes first four albums to the Bunnymen's. Not many can touch them.
I also sign Pixies albums as the fella made a fool of myself in front of Black Francis (Frank Black at the time) at his record release party.
