The Pixies

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Doolittle start to finish is incredible. I liken the Pixes first four albums to the Bunnymen's. Not many can touch them.

I also sign Pixies albums as the fella made a fool of myself in front of Black Francis (Frank Black at the time) at his record release party.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Doolittle is one of my top 10 favorites of all time. I agree that the first 4 are pretty great although Bossanova is the weakest one IMO. Another Bunnymen comparison is that Gil Norton (Ocean Rain) also produced three Pixies albums.

Not like the old days around here, nobody's pointed out my spelling mistakes. Good album though.

I went all the way to Cardiff and got my brother a Spillers sweatshirt, and he complained about the quality!

They were magnificent. Gouge Away and Debaser the highlights for me. Great night!

And now he's died - and I unknowingly had his siggy on a pixies album. Only 62 too.
