speaking of Leonard Cohen

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

I'd like to attend a gig of his too, hopefully when I'm not on my trips unless I can see him at those cities too!

Good luck to you, getting the tickets you'd like.

and did Leonard really ask the guy what the next line was....and he replied?

he really looked like he enjoyed it though!

i really hope i can get tickets to see him, i bet it'll be hard. last saw him in 1988! brilliant!!!

Looks like Leonard did ask Ron Sexsmith what the next line was.

Ah, the "I'm Your Man" tour. Couldn't get tickets for love or money.

I'll admit that I just don't "get" Cohen. I like it when other people do his songs but I've never found him that interesting to listen to. With Dylan at least you could identify him with a generation and put him in context to appreciate what he did. The Scorcese docu on Dylan really changed my mind about Dylan when I didn't "get" him either. So now I feel like I am missing out on something .

What might make me "get" Cohen?

Don't ask me. I don't "get" him either. I can understand/appreciate Dylan, even though I'm not of that generation. But I don't get Cohen's appeal. Sorry.
