Moose

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Thought to be the first band to be called "shoegaze" most do not about the band.

Found a fan myspace site
http://www.myspace.com/uptowninvisible

Closer in strength to Catherine Wheel mixed with House of Love if I had to sum them up. Actually closer to the Jean Paul Sartre Experience from New Zealand than CW & HoL.

On Can't Get Enough of You check out the Ooohs and the tapping bongo track.

The singer played guitar for Stereolab while they toured. Later on their stuff got a bit jangly/country before returning to the shoegaze sound in 2000 - especially 1992's "Black Sessions" are shoegaze prime and on 2000's High Ball Me which has the track "Can't Get Enough of You."

Enjoy.

My mate is married to the lead singer...
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

You are someone. Who sharpens pencils and counts paperclips.

LOL i LOVE the cd. never got anything else by them tho. i heard them being played at the old 9:30 club in the 90's and asked the DJ who it was. bought a cd single. loved it. never saw anything else......but sometimes i can't think of all the bands i wanna check out when i'm in a record store looking for stuff. (well, back in the 90's i still went to records stores!)

"Can't Get Enough' Off of High Ball Me reminds me of the Jean Paul Sartre Experience.
