The Coral Christmas dates in Liverpool

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

The Twang - hilarious. Blind drunk, shouty but great melodies. Loads of reverb on the guitar. Really got the crowd going. Were quite emotional at the end as the reception they got was so warm. Some dick threw beer all over us, but still enjoyed it. Like a cross between Flowered Up and U2. See them now before they do a rubbish 2nd album and fade away.

The Coral - alot melower nowadays. Gone are the 13 min versions of Goodbye as an encore. Great musicians, no real banter with the crowd. The set was mainly from the new album with some old faves thrown in. Great time had by partisan crowd.

Taxi home - uneventful.

Hangover - vicious.

Let's face it the first one isn't great, two great songs, a couple of decent ones and a fair bit of filler.
