Shack

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

I have read in an interview with Mick that a US tour is a distinct possibility!
I'm just dying reading all of the show reviews on shacknet.
Fans have posted alot of cellphone vids on youtube in the past few weeks tomo, you might want to check those out.

Ahhh tomo. You're a lucky man to have to face a choice like that! Do the HMV thing if you can, they do a short set first then sign stuff. From what I have heard (and they have posted some videos on youtube from some of these HMV signing gigs) they have been incredible in-store.

Wow, they will be performing as Pale Fountains 2 dates next year in Feb.
This is something I'd love to see especially if they get the full brass.
Announced today on the Janice Long show (quote taken from Shacknet)

Well well well. The Pale Fountains, live, 2008.

2nd February - Liverpool Carling Academy
3rd February - London, Shepherd's Bush Empire

Janice Long: "Are you gonna do some gigs (as The Palies)"
John Head: "Well someone mentioned it to me and said it'd be a good idea and I'm up for it, 'cause I was privileged enough to join them when I left school and I just said if Mick's up for it, I'm up for it and Mick said he was up for it. It's just an idea... It's something I never thought would happen... It'll be great."

And from being just an idea, at the end of the session Janice Long was able to announce the two dates.

Totally cool! I hope you post the article when you're done. Can you ask him to please tour at a few dates in the US (major cities)?! Also in other interviews he mentioned him and John doing some solo projects and him doing a soundtrack, but when is Shack going to put something new out?

Did anybody go to the Coral show this weekend, with Shack supporting? I read only positive things over on Shacknet, which is no worship gallery.
Those fans really know how to take a band to heart and to cheer for them and boost them to success, I really feel that Shack fans have a deep "ownership" regard for the band that is not blind. They are most eloquent too when things go right. They acknowledge drug addiction, ups and downs in performance quality, but absolutely exhult when things are going well. Right now the band seems to be on an incredible high and the fans are over the moon.

Shite interview with Mick here...

Much better is our two part classic with BSP, Hamilton likes Sarge a lot, "err is he still drivin' round with all his junk in his Land Rover then or what?" Thought I'd save that nugget for this place...
THis is a seriously mental interview, they're fucking quietly off their rockers...
