Carbon/Silicon

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Carbon/Silicon

Band featuring Mick Jones of The Clash and Tony James of Generation X.

Haven't formed an opinion yet, but giving it a listen.

Any thoughts?

What about carbon enhanced by silicon?
There's times when I've been deeply indifferent

Mick Jones is a good pop songster. Never heard it, but I have yet to really like anything Tony James did after Gen X.

Mick Jones did the band with Blur boy and produced the Libtertines, right? What else am I missing post BAD?

Carbon Silicon -- Damn fine album. Been collecting songs since they were giving them away free. Got The Network, Gangs Of Englad, etc. all banging on my ipod. Much more CLASH then Big Audio. They dropped the samples fomr their earlier internet only releases.

You can still find freebies floating around on the forum of the unofficial site.

"The important thing is to have a contemporary rhythm section that informs the music but without slavishly using other people's stuff. Now we've seen the light."

Great lyrics, but I miss my Joe. Mick Jones's voice just doesn't do it for me, but bless him for trying.
