stellastarr*

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

stellastarr*

So am I the only one in the whole world who loves stellastarr*???

IMO, within this whole new wave revival milieu, stellastarr* do it better than anyone else. They should be on top of the world right now. Their last album "Harmonies for the Haunted" was brilliant. ("The Diver" and "Lost in Time" are just two great, great tracks from that record.)

Here's a song from their first album:

Just one of the cool things about this band is that they have a girl bass player. Girl bass players are awesome.

despite the pretentious lower case spelling and cute little asterick at the end this is a good band and girl bass players are hot starting with Kim Deal.

MMMMMMMMMMMM Kim Deal. She could have 5 kids with four different dudes and I'd still marry her.

They really are good live. I wish they had made some videos to go along with these songs.

You're so cute when you get all worked up over stellastar* Jack
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Crap it's been over a year since my last stellastarr* post. Not too late to get in on the ground floor of this phenomenon.
