The Obligatory Depeche Mode thread

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

I can't wait either. Although I also don't think the album title is up to much but that'll have no bearing on the quality.
The album is going to be fantastic.

Roll on 2nd June!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

That was the same with me, I didnt like it for years - now its in my top 3 DM albums. Tim Simenon did a great job on that album, beautiful textures.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

So I just googled Simenon's name and every single site has "This site may harm your computer."

Tim Simenon is a producer / DJ who was known as Bomb The Bass in the UK and had a (fairly big) hit with "Beat Dis" in the late 80's.

He's got a pretty good Myspace site - http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... d=61609555

He also produced the "Only When I Lose Myself" single and b sides for DM.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

And you're gonna love that article - there's even a "Watchmen" link.

I think he's more musician / producer than DJ these days.

It shows in the track n his myspace. Seems like djs with even the most basic understanding of chord progressions move away from the repetition of the dance floor confines and move into, well, the confines of traditional song structure.
