The Obligatory Depeche Mode thread

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Are these on that big ass box set cause I have that with all these weird mixes I've never listened to. Like Jedi Knight mix and shit like that.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

They should all be in that...yes. I'm so sad I have all the 12" singles and then cd singles, double packs etc

I forgot to mention the Quad Final Mix of Enjoy The Silence...
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Nah. Did you read that poem? And they said, "less and less people". Got enough bad grammar on BOF I.

The less/fewer battle is lost, I'm afraid.

Is it? Since when? Who said and why wasn't I informed?
It still infuriates me almost as much as, "the amount of times ..."

We can not afford to abandon this cause!

I tried explaining it the other day, and the fellow literally had no idea what I was talking about. (I mean "literally" in the literal sense.)

I still fight the podium/lectern battle, though. I'm going down with the ship on that one.

We won't tolerate that sort of thing here. We have standards and a reputation to maintain.

Maybe they mean the people are fading, like ghosts.

See! That's what I'm talking about.
Some people may take umbrage with the
subject matter on this site (what people's Moms get up to,
whether Dr Evil has people locked in his cellar etc.)
But at least it's generally all thrashed out in good grammar.
Harmless, grammatically correct fun. Carry on.

Gramatically correct...have you read Wojo's posts?

In fact Wojo and Spooky (and her various manifestations) were the main culprits in bringing down the tone.
Red's inability to construct a conditional sentence was also bad for the site but that ages ago.
