Alan Wilders input into DM is cruelly undervalued by Martin Gore - but not by Dave Gahan, Fletch and (most) of the fans. Ultra and Playing The Angel are good albums - but just lack that bit of magic AW brought to the arrangements. Exciter is garbage.

Dave Gahans "Hourglass" album is superb. 100% improvment on the so-so Paper Monsters.

Great band though.
