Spiritualized tomorrow

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Full orchestra and mugs?
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

No mugs but the shows have been getting rave reviews. However I'll go to the bar during the 30 minute 'jazz-feedback' bit.

Well-Elbow on at Wolverhampton on the same night and England playing probably(..) meant not a very good turn out(400 tops).Frankly the Academy at 2000 capacity is way too big for them so they shut the top balcony and all but one of the bars. This didnt lend itself to a particular good atmosphere. Now,Acoustic Mainlines show last year was one of the best gigs I've ever been to but how would Jason play the electric stuff?Well..........same old frustating Spz I'm afraid ranging from the untouchable (Come Together,Ladies & Gents) to the average to the frankly annoying half wig-outs to some weak album tracks.Strange setlist missing out most of my fave songs and only time for an encore of Oh Happy Days(the religious song not Monday,Tuesday...) where a god-squadder woman on crutches nearly crushed my toe in a rush(!) to the front. So the final verdict? If Spz play acoustic everyone should go.If electric.....think about it but I'd still pay £15 to hear Come Together on a cold Wednesday in Brum.Just play a smaller venue next time.
