speaking of Leonard Cohen

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

I think he fell asleep. Or maybe something along the lines of "yadda yadda yadda." I'm voting for the former.

Lucca, 27/07: LC has a lot of energy for a 73 year old and was on form. The sound was clear but very quiet. Met some Dubliners (including a German, a Finn and two Italians) and a Scouser who had been to the Crystal Day. No one fell asleep.

Dance Me to the End of Love
The Future
Ain't No Cure for Love
Bird on the Wire
Everybody Knows
In My Secret Life
Who by Fire
Hey, That's No Way to Say Goodbye
Anthem

Intermission

Tower of Song
Suzanne
The Gypsy's Wife
Boogie Street
Hallelujah
Democracy
I'm Your Man
Take This Waltz

Encore #1:
So Long, Marianne
First We Take Manhattan
Sisters of Mercy
If It Be Your Will
Closing Time

Encore#2:
I Tried to Leave You
Wither Thou Goest

You lucky, lucky thing. Sigh ...

I'm hoping to make it through the festive season without hearing the x-factor version.

It's not bad actually and at least this year's winner can sing unlike the tone deaf gimp who won it last time round. But really, does anyone care!
