The Obligatory Beatles Remasters 2009 Thread

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

I just heard a song on the radio. The hi-hats are clearer. Um, don't exactly want to run out and buy any of the cds. We'll see.

He wont meet you-he has this problem meeting strangers where he hides.Plus he has a dodgy choice in taxis late at night.

all this 'you'd never have a [insert name of band] ' bit difficult to prove really. oh hang on a minute i've just found a wormhole to a parallel universe where they didn't exist and..... youre right. i apologise.

cant beat a bit of cilla though, before she did blind date obviously.

see how far away she is from the mic stand for a start, and the way she turns to look at the camera thats trying to get a shot down her dress. fine set of lungs.

yeah well each to his own, but theres the problem with the world today. i.e., you yanks cant see something of simple beauty without wanting to say you've got something better. but anyways what i like about cilla is she's got two singing voices. she starts off with it all all sweet and nice and then it turns into a cross between a hod carrier whose dropped his bricks and margaret thatcher as she's about to teara strip off the opposition front bench.

Kind of like how Brits can only define themselves in relation to Americans?
I don't know how else you could assume I was making this a America vs. British thang.

Complex, perhaps?

Boys, settle down now and play nicely.
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

Do you two want me to pull this car over?

And besides you all have seem to forgotten Ronnie Spector and check this out no microphones, band, instruments, etc. needed to achieve that perfect in studio sound. Can your precious Wanda or Cilla pull that one off?

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Thanks Jack. Now I'll be singing "Over There" all day long.

Over there, over there,
Send the word, send the word over there
That the Yanks are coming, the Yanks are coming
The drum's rum-tumming everywhere
So prepare, say a prayer,
Send the word, send the word to beware
We'll be over, we're coming over
And we won't come back till it's over, over there

It's a catchy tune, isn't it?

I remember a time not too long ago where that would have gone on for a few more pages at least. What is happening to us?
