more traumatic Sigur Ros videos

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

i dunno, it's so removed from their usual style. not sure if i like it. (the song, not the video  ) it reminds me of someone else, but i can't think who it is. it might grow on me, i'll see. i wonder if the whole album is just as different.

Just have to start with ---Red don't hate me. I'm seeing Sigur Ros on June 11th in Omaha.

Found out about the show Labor Day weekend while in Ohio at clogging competition. Some of the 20somethings asked if I was going. Got tickets as soon as we got back to town. They are balcony seats but it's in small theater with fabulous acoustics. Should be a great show.

i forgot to ask you if you were going!!! i wasn't sure if you were a fan though. lucky you!! :-) i knew they were in your neighbourhood! this is probably one time you can be lucky to live in the middle of nowhere! heheheee i don't think any of their US shows are sold out yet except fpr the NYC one... but they're all TOO FAR away from me. i'm sure they'll be doing another real tour after the album comes out. (in between the million other shows they have!) ho hum!

make sure you tell us about the show!!!!

I'm not a rabid fan but I do like them--have 3 of their cd's. The plan is for my 13 year old to go, too. She's just got to find a substitute teacher for her clogging classes that night. We went to see The Cure 2 weeks ago in KC and she really enjoyed it. She's coming to realize that not all of mom's music is weird.

Look no further. I was U.S. Northeast Regional Clogging Champion 3 years running, and was a semi-finalist in the 1998 Pan-Pacific Clogging Tournament.

New video footage of them recording at Abbey Rd.
Oh and if anyone has any doubts about whether to see them or not, just do it. Have seen them nigh on a dozen times in tents, halls, fields, churches and they really are special
