New music suggestions please

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

The first Baltic Fleet album is great.

It passed me by in amongst my anything or anyone connected with the Bunnymen, meh phase. But I do like Engage a lot so will be buying the album. Dunno if that is Will though on that track. Just running through the samples of the tracks on the first album, so guess I'll get that.

He IS a cutie  But have to say his music is growing on me, it's actually Peter Gabriel, not Sting at all... (Yes I know Sting urk! I hate his singing)

...oh and this is him, Gotye

I love A Place to Bury Strangers, very good live. It's not really 'new' but I 've been listening to the Mark Lanegan Band's recent album, excellent, especially the Gravediggers Song

Gaz Coombes' debut solo album seems to be good stuff for that kind of 90s nostalgia, if that is more of your era (which probably isn't). Never liked Supergrass though and I am sure there are some that would like to gas Coombes permanently. Still, looking forward to this being released next week.
