goddamn Radiohead

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Sincerest apologies, I didn't understand you were the ghost of Douglas Bader.

Oddly, I had lunch last Sunday at the very pub that Douglas probably frequented during the war - so perhaps I am he. Nice waitress there. Pretty young thing. She thought my ability to walk, tobacco pipe in mouth and erect pipe in the trousers was spiffing. I am determined to woo her.

Fucking genius of Nigel Blackwell..

Half Man Half Biscuit
Arthur's Farm lyrics

Arthur Askee and Dougie Wougie Bader
Went down to the Animal Farm.
Douglas bored a boar,
With his stories from the war.
And explained about the boil on his palm.

Napoleon, very pink, offerred both of them a drink,
And a drink and a drink and a drink.
Come the hour of four, they were legless to be sure,
Not one of them had even had a wink,
Of sleep.

Everybody sang as loud as they could,
"Two legs bad, but four legs good!"
This made the boys feel pretty oppressed.

Came the new realm, it was A. A. at the Helm",
While Dougie played lufftwafer on the roof
After amputating limbs all the others wrote new hymns
And a sign post read secondhand hooves.
Years passed by, double glazing in the sty.
It was good, but it was total apathy!
Everybody arsed around
As the Beast of England Sound,
Had been ruined by a busy busy bee!
And chants were heard from the East to the West,
"Four legs good, but no legs best!"
Invalidity reigned supreme.
And shouts were heard from the East to the West,
"Four legs good, but no legs best!"
one time visitors were now the regime.

I have reached my bleep and bloop limit for the week now. I was, as expected, underwhelmed with this latest effort.
