I actually had thought of this already and a few variants of it as well. Turns out a few bands already exist that have no name.

And JackT, how did no one in this group of esteemed gentlemen not think to put the words "explosion" and "penis" in the same hypothetical band name?

Bandwithnoname, terrific band - seen them live a few times. Their debut 2006 album was a rousing anthemic collection of nine guitar-laden dark and gloomy tunes with shades of Echo and the Bunnymen, Joy Division and the Southern Texas Hillbilly Troupe. Pity they are not known so widely.
