I think he considers Faith and Devotion their crowning achievement. If only they didn't tour 3,752 cities in the span of three months, Wilder might still be a member. Does anyone know where that side by side comparison of Enjoy the Silence is? It's the demo presented to Wilder then the completed version. I forgot what site it's on and I have some people here at home to set straight (non Alan Wilder believers).
I might give him too much credit but I think it is pretty obvious Depeche Mode's aura, mystique or whatever you want to call it had a lot to do with Wilder.
