The Obligatory Contented of Hove Thread

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Thanks, I just checked it on the Bad Seeds Myspazz. All dates are not included on their webpage. I'm very tempted

You are letting the price of gas get between you and a once-in-five-years opportunity to see one of the greatest live bands on the planet?

Precisely! Especially having so often bemoaned the fact that he doesn't go to the USA. Pah!

well, if you're willing to make donations, i'll gladly go!
do you have to drive 4 hours one way to see a band?
it makes a difference. (especially 2 days after returning home from seeing the bunnymen in NYC, which is right after London. and i already have tickets for both) gas is only part of it. there's the road tolls, PARKING which will cost more than the cost of the show ticket, and food and whatever other expenses occur. (fuck, it's $6 - $8 just to go across the tunnel (or bridge) to get into manhattan alone.)

it must be nice to not have to think about money.
pfft!

It's even nicer to have a proper public transport system.
