The Obligatory Contented of Hove Thread

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Good for anyone who likes pictures of rock musicians posing, doing stuff or just staring down the lens. Just saying.

Missus was browsing this yesterday, and don't ask me why but she took the cover off. And especially for the fanboys amongst us, it folds out to a poster if one of the pics you can put on your wall. Crackin...

Doesn't Mark E Smith look like Richard Madeley in that photo.

Mr. Brian please delete this thread.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Don't know why the fuck I always click on this thread, never thought much of that Nick Cave fella though Con Air was brilliant, I'll give him that. I think it's just my sodding OCD, I just click on all the red posts because I haven't seen them even though I don't give a shit either about this one or the bloody Depeche Mode one for fucks sake.

another storyof no real consequence, but just to amuse BF. Watching the BBCs comedy series Uncle and notice they use a bit of old Nick now and again - into my arms tonight.

Read this. odd little interview, just Warren Ellis going on about ow he met Cave & the seeds, the melbourne scene and all that, and how he was asked to play on a couple of songs, and then invited to do a tour, then another album anf now he's Nicks best mate. And how they don't talk that much in the studio but everyone seems to know what to do, and how, on one of the first sessions, getting a bit cocky suggested a change to the chords - breaths held in sharply - but he survived. Also a little sidebar with cave himself saying how he writes the songs but its the rest, being cracking musicians, make it happen. Seems this is just a taster of one of their special editions coming out soon.
