Too electronic to be classed as Landfill Indie but could be Landfill Synthpop. Time will tell.

Went to delamere forest tonight watchin Doves and these were the support band.

Quite good actually.

better than the average skinny white kid bands of late.

Not bad, I prefer Counterpoint. They do seem to go a tad overkill on the different mixes of one song on their 12 inch single releases. Cheers for sharing that band Scouser. Flagged up as "one to watch".

They sound pretty cool, I'll have to check out more of their stuff. Not to derail this thread but here's another New Order inspired band. The frontman is probaby my second favorite musician behind Will. He even uses a line from a Joy Division song.

My issue with this is that they, UNLIKE OMD and New Order, can't actually play their stuff live on the synths. With the other bands they really could. OMD was mad crazy how they could keep all that going at once with fingers flying on the bass and keyboards.

They're OK, but I would prefer stuff that they can actually play.

I vote we see how they do "unplugged"
