Bands in need of a last ever concert

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Bands in need of a last ever concert

Soft Cell
Pixies
Depeche Mode
The Cure
KMFDM
Anything to do with Mike Love
Sisters of Mercy
Psychedelic Furs
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Thats going to be a busy week in the FC household (and a little sad, touched with, at the end (if I dare say it) a little release).

No. I think they'v had a couple of those already haven't they? The first last ever, then the reunion tour that ended too soon/not soon enough (depending on your point of view), the comeback for the london olympic ceremony and then talk about another reunion when the newly hot sporty said she wouldn't do it and now it seems we're on the brink of another full set. Some might say I know too much about this.

The Psychedelic Furs still put on a great show. Butler has taken care of himself *ahem*.

Pixies. No Kim, no deal for me. Ha!

Mike Love is a terrible human. This is a fact

DM and the Cure should wrap it up. It may be too late for the Cure.

I didn't know Soft Cell and KMFDM were still a thing.

Jesus, you're even more miserable when you've got the flu!

Get well soon Doc.

The Cure has the chops to put out a great album; however, Robert Smith seems to revel in the irony of selling albums that are absolute shit. The guy just never had enough adversity nor challenges in his life to grow. He's stagnated and The Cure should end. Conversely, EATB has experienced a ton of challenges, adversity, opportunities and as a result, have grown and produce interesting and worthwhile music.
Anything to do with Mike Love is really Funny.
You all will jump on my ass about this band; but, U2 is going nowhere. Time for them to retire.
Hmmm...who else? AC/DC, all the old hair bands, I'd say 90% of the bands over 10 years of togetherness need to call it quits. I think most bands have about 5 years in them. One band I hate but is an example of attempting to grow is Bon Jovi (jump on my ass)
Institutions such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have regressed into a politically correct shit hole that has failed to inspire any musicians or bands striving to continue to evolve and influence. Dire Straits gets in but Rage Against the Machine does not? The Bunnies are never considered? It's all about money. What a ramble..huh?

AC/DC is basically just Angus Young now and as much as I've enjoyed them in the past I hope he decides to call it a day now.

Robert Smith has cake and homemade beer. He's got it made.

Robert says to Mary, "Oh Let Them Eat Cake;" meanwhile, he diabolically plans the next crappy dirge album, fires a band mate by fax; and, dyes his roots.

Always has hasn't it? I think its quite openly a financial institution and allthe bands/singers/narcissists are happy to pay to go along. One of my pet hates this. What a load of wank, and then they wait til George Harrison is dead to let him in, as if he wasn't worthy for the thirty odd years before but then, ah yes we mssed him. Not that I'm a George fan, apart from the last three or so Beatles albums he was clearly writing better songs than the other two blokes. ANyways, where was I?

This is the place for rambles, but then I would say that. Ramble on (as the zeps used to say).
