Toy - Left Myself Behind

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Hmm, I am very much unsure about Toy. That track and Motoring is alright. It's all very The Horrors (who they have supported) and moreso S.C.U.M. A new music thread I guess so I'll push this band, as I doubt few people will be able to escape the buzz that is surrounding them at the moment.

Bought the first pressing of Left Myself Behind and the White vinyl of Motoring. I'm hoping they'll pay for a few weeks for me in an old people's home in the not too distant future.

The singer from Toy looks like he could be Richard Ashcroft's younger brother.

I always thought the standing in front of a brick wall gazing off in the distance look was underutilized in rock photography.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I agree - just like let's say three people out of a four piece band all gazing in the same direction and the other guy/girl looking in a completely different direction.

Listening to the new album at the mo'. What a debut. 'Dead and Gone' is a bloody cracker. Get the CD from those lovely people at Rough Trade and there's a bonus disc of BBC session material.
