SVIIB - Ghostory

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Wow - with the departure of the twin sister Alenjandra and the loss of their discordant harmonies, the new album is not only listenable but gets better with repeated listening.
Vocals are still layered.

It ain't great, but fans of M83 and the Cocteau Twins - maybe even Kate Bush will dig it.

I think Reappear may be one of the best tracks - but maybe it is the Tron Title theme I here in the beginning that wins me over

The track Lafaye has had a lot of airplay over here on BBC6 Music, almost to a point that I was turning the radio off when it came on. Didn't realise it was by them. Reminds me a bit of Bat for Lashes, Chairlift amongst others. The Night particularly sounds like Chairlift, or maybe Chairlift sound like School of Seven Bells.

I was listening to BBC6 today. Yeah, what you get there on the radio most cities don't play on the radio here. While listening I heard BRMC from their first album and other good songs. Bigger cities have decent stations but smaller markets are lucky if they have a decent college station for music.
