MGMT "Time to Pretend"

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

I hate this video, but the song is one of my favorites.

I love the song - like the CD - but that spawned so many pseudo flasetto baby bands like Passion Pit they have become the Nirvana have hippy electronica.

I like that one MGMT song. I forget what it's called.

Time To Pretend?

Electric Feel is good, too. It is the kind of song they would play on Soul Train.

"Kids" is also a great song, but I won't post the video. I feel so badly for that poor toddler boo hooing his eyes out the whole time because he's scared shitless.

Did they disappear from all trace.

I'm usually quite good at keeping abreast of things, but
they were only all right when they were starting out
so I never felt the need to go and be obsessive.

Well when you let that doof from Spacemen 3 produce your album, you must have a drug problem.

They released a new one in 2010, "Congratulations", but it sucked.
