New Wedding Present Album

Postby fat cherry » Sun Nov 27, 2011 6:39 am

or how to fund the new wedding present album perhaps:

http://www.scopitones.co.uk/club-8

For a ton you get your name on the album, a signed copy, a limited edition single and 'extras' to be announced at a later date. You'd have to be a VB style uber fan for that I suppose. More and more bands are doing this kind of thing I think - didn't def leopard or some other metal band do this?
Would you join that for the buns next album VB? call me oild fashioned and all but i might like to hear a demo or two first.

Looks like I'll be funding it all at this rate.

I'd be a bit worried about the 'extras to be announced at a later date', I mean they're not exactly The Saturdays are they.

If we could okay the demos and the studio recordings, I'd pay. You could keep sending them back until they got it right to everyone's satisfaction, including Dr Cheese's and Scouser. And if they couldn't, we wouldn't pay a dime. Which might be what would happen. Easy and still a laugh at the same time for pissing the band off sending them back to endlessly re-write and re-record the album. It'd never be released.

perhaps thats what kind of happens anyway. At least it would explain the long intervals between releases. Obv the fountain was slipped out whilst nobody else was looking. Also would it not be a good idea to insist on some kind of return should sales exceed some carefully calculated level.
