The Psychedelic Furs

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

They were playing near me, but I couldn't get out to see them. Sad.

Have a good time!

Saw them in April in L.A. Fantastic show ... Talk Talk Talk in its entirety ... unless you're seeing them with the Tom Tom Club, then maybe just greatest hits. Either way, enjoy!

Girl With No Name ... you may still have a chance to see them this year ... they're playing some fest in northern California in September with the TTC ... seems like they'd add more Cali dates to that. Fingers crossed!

Ha! I just saw that gig and the first thing I thought was, "One of the few bands from that decade that still are in decent shape and sound great. I have to go to this."

I saw them at Canalfest (yes we live in an area that celebrates ditches) a year or two ago and they were fantastic. Saw them at the Continental before it got torn down. Another good show.

soitanly! Hope they play SF again!

I can't say enough about them. The Furs: Tight, loud and rocking it hard ... what more could you ask for? Oh, wait -- a great frontman too ... that would be Richard Butler ... still working it like nobody's business! In great shape, still looks dreamy, and his voice sounds fantastic. A great night out!

And I hate to say this, but as I was witnessing the Bunnymen spiral down the drain in Anaheim, I kept trying not to compare it to the Furs' show a few weeks earlier. And I just couldn't stop myself.

Lol! That one, like many posts on here, made me laugh out loud!

I've been into the Furs as long as i've been into the Bunnymen-seen the Bunnymen in all varieties about 40 times, Furs 3! The TTT gig was amazingly good- only one guitar though but is a great show- great frontman still in good voice and shape, great energy and the band always look like they're enjoying it as much as the audience

Would have killed to see the Furs/Bunnymen joint bills of a couple of years ago

You will have a great time, I've seen the Furs a few times and also Butler's Love Spit Love and I've never been let down. Richard is engaging front man with a great voice.
