Girls - Album

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

I've never cared much for Pearl Jam, but I had to admire them when they took on Ticketmaster. When Ticketmaster crushed them, it was like David taking on Goliath and Goliath winning. A sad day for the little guy.

Pearl Jam has a new business model. They sold their new cd - which is not on a label - exclusively at Target and on itunes. But Target did allow the band to sell the cd to indie record shops. So it would seem the band is really doing it a better way for them.

And they were "kind of" David. Don't forget they were on Sony - one of the biggest labels in the world. No one in the business world backed them up. I think Vedder was hanging out with Ian McKaye a lot back then, too.

Finally got the cd after backorder hell. A bit Elvis Costello and a bit I Should CoCo from Supergrass. I like.

The RS review is better. It is only one paragraph.
