I heard this band on the radio (college WBNY 91.3) on the way to work and was impressed. Called and found out the kid just got out of high school around 2005.

Local kid made a few songs for his gf and the songs were popular around school. At college continued and then magically got on MTV. (Truth is I suspect a rich kid with a family of connections).


Anyway - fans of MGMT and Dave Fridmann, you might like this.
